Cornwall Park :: Bellingham, WA
Registration: the sign-up & waiver document is available for download here.
As an extra incentive for getting your bike out when it's really chilly, we like to provide an extra special course for your January enjoyment. It's that classic Bellingham favorite from Belly Cross days, Cornwall Park! The course design is mixed up a bit from years past, and the direction is reversed!
Update: due to the introduction of a brand new “feature” this weekend, the course layout below may be overlapping.

DIRECTIONS:
Cornwall Park is off Meridian St. just south of Bellis Fair Mall.
Easy access off I-5 - from either direction, take the Guide Meridian exit 256A (not the Bellis Fair ramp). Head south on Meridian to the next set of stoplights (1/2 mile).
There are two entrances on the left just past Birchwood Ave. Take the second left to access the center of the course and registration. The first left is park headquarters, a playground, and public restrooms.
Alternate parking is indicated on the course map above - a rear park entrance on Cornwall off Illinois St. There is also an elementary school on Coolidge and a couple medical buildings on Birchwood/Squalicum Ave. if things get really tight.
The map address is 3428 Meridian St, Bellingham, WA 98225
From Vancouver, you can take I-5 from the Peace Arch or Truck Crossing. Alternatively, take 1 to Hwy. 13 (264th) to the sometimes lightly visited Aldergrove border crossing. Drive straight down Meridian about 25 km until you cross under I-5, then follow the directions above.
Special thanks to Bellingham Parks & Recreation for providing three of the Cascade Cross venues this year, including this Gem of the North. Their office headquarters are right here if you want to drop them a thank you note (and words of encouragement for continuing to support local cyclocross).
SERIES FINALE AFTER PARTY
The official season-end party for cyclocross racers and fans of all ages & orientations, complete with series overall awards, will be held from 6pm to 9pm, on Saturday Jan. 14th right after Chiller Cross. The location is Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen in downtown Bellingham (actually, Old Town) inside the brewery itself!
Several of their award-winning beers will be on tap at the party. Two drink tickets will be provided at the door to every of-age attendee who raced in the series this year - after that, beers are $4 each. There will be some slices of gourmet pizzas provided for part of the evening, or you can order anything you want from the restaurant. You can even start a tab in the party room!
DJ IDLHNDS will be returning for his third year of spinning our after-party tunes. We will also be raffling off TWO sets of Williams Wheels cyclocross tubulars (a $400 retail value) to benefit the newly-formed Whatcom County Composite Team in the Washington High School Mountain Bike League. Tickets will be $5 each, available at Cornwall Park during the race and at the party, with all proceeds going to race expenses for the team. A representative will be on-hand to explain this exciting new development for local youth sports, and we're stoked to be a part of encouraging young bike racers!
Come blow out another year of awesome cyclocross racing, where each year gets more epic than the one before, in the heart of the nation's best cyclocross racing region!
